Gene Whitworth is the Founder & CEO of Platinum Security & Investigations, Inc. Mr. Whitworth is a veteran of the U.S. Army, has more than thirty years of law enforcement experience to include, but not limited to; Undercover Narcotic Operations, Forgery, Fraud, Death Investigations, Loss Prevention, Surveillance, Marijuana Examiner, Clandestine Lab Operations, Accident Investigations, DUI Enforcement, Field Training Officer, K-9 Handler, NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, and much more.

 

While a Georgia Peace Officer, Mr. Whitworth was known for his attention to detail, creative tactics, ability to complete cases, and his "go get 'em" attitude. During his career in law enforcement, Mr. Whitworth received numerous awards in recognition of his achievements to include; two Chief Accommodation Awards, and a letter of appreciation from Georgia's Lt. Governor. While working undercover narcotics, Mr. Whitworth was also deputized by the FBI in order to assist them in several high-profile drug cases.

 

In addition to all his Peace Officer Standards and Training education, Mr. Whitworth also obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia Southern University where he graduated with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) as well as his Master's Degree in Business Administration from this same institution.

 

Mr. Whitworth is a highly respected individual throughout law enforcement and his community. Mr. Whitworth believes in organizational ethics, honesty, integrity, professionalism, and dependability.
